Welcome to the web home of the Red Canyon Martial Arts Club.

First thing You should know is this is a club and not a school.  We don't wear uniforms, we don't bow, we don't refer to anyone as master or sir.  We train.  We are a group of folks who is more interested in training than in art.

Generally, we train no hold barred fighting but we also train filipino stick and knife as well as law enforcement defensive tactics.

The bottom line is we train whatever we want to train -- it all depends on who shows up and what they want to work on.  This is a group learning environment and everyone is equal in their opinion.

Our members range from near 50 to about 20 and we've got alot of experience among us.  From grappling to striking to self-defense we've got someone that can teach you something and who is willing to let you work on it in a realistic setting.

We believe in training hard and realistically, and sometimes there's a little blood on the mats at the end of training so if you want to play come to play hard and enjoy yourself.

We also don't take any of this to seriously.  My old Judo instructor used to refer to this as adults playing and we want our members to have fun and remember we're just playing.

So come to play and play to live.

What we stand for and strive for:

Our club believe in hard training
Our club believes in integrity
Our club believe in safety and having fun
Our club believes in strong spirit

Basically we just want to get together and continue our training without having to put up with "masters" ans "sirs" and monthly contracts that charge for everything including air.

Our number one priority is on learning and safety no matter how hard we train but we also must always remember that we you play rough you're gonna get a few bumps and bruise so a little blood once in awhile is all part of the game.

Remember:  "Come to play, play to live"
