"Blessed are the PEACEmakers for they shall be called sons of God"  Matthew 5:9

Newest SS4PL Campaign

Ok folks I's been thinking abit lately (it's a bad habit I'm trying to break) about gasoline, cars, war, and king George.

You know, Abe Lincoln believed this was to be a republic of the people and by the people and this is especially true in the market place.  The problem is things have gotten flip-flopped in our collective psyche.

For some reason we the people think we don't run things any more.  We've become stupid and we act like little lemmings.  We go to Walmart just because it's there and seems cheaper but Walmart has degraded and impinged upon the integrity and dignity of our American people at a psychological cost that can't hardly be measured.

We whine about gas prices yet we just keep buying that good ole' gasoline don't we.  You say, "I must be able to drive, I have to go to work, and to the mountains and to the camping places, and to the clubs" or whatever but your brain has left the building because the more you drive the more you support high gas prices.

And about king george and his Iraqi/war on terror ducky -- I'm getting tired of it and all the propaganda around it.  Hey George, what about a friggin' domestic policy or is that to hard for you to pronounce?  Guess George likes short word like "war" and "stay the course".  It angers and upsets me that George is using the united states military as his personal protection service and loaning it out to his big corporate friends who are establishing themselves in the middle east.

He tells us that it would be a dishonor to bring the troops home before they've accomplished their objectives but I thought th objective was to boot saddam and to establish a freely elected government -- Ok, didn't we do that?  I would think it's time to come home snoopy.  Leave in place consultants and trainers and bring the vast majority of the kiddies home so they can go back to school and grow up.

If the corporate goobers want protection let 'em hire security instead of pimping the united state military.

So here's what I suggest:

1.  pick you least favorite big box store and stop going there whenever possible.  Start shopping at the Mom and Pop or at least smaller chain stores even if they are abit more expensive -- you'll be striking a blow for intelligent people everywhere -- and then convince one friend to do the same thing.

2.  Drive less.  That's right drive less.  If you have to drive to work then only drive to work.  If you have a big gas guzzling pickup that only gets 8 blocks to the gallon or some other behemoth -- sell it or park it and purchase something more fuel efficient or of course trade it in.  and then with your new economic car (don't worry guys this is not a reflection on your penis size if you sell your big truck) drive less.

3.  Bomb the white house with emails telling King George that we want him to bring back our troops and focus on domestic policy and stop using scare tactics and unkewl patriotic gibberish to keep us not focused on domestic issues.  You can email the white house at here:   http://www.whitehouse.gov/contact/

The less we depend in petroleum products the more peace we can create.  Peace is not only a moral issue it is also an economic issue.  Let's take back the market place as one united group of American Citizens.

And thus starts my destroy the walmarts of the world campaign:  Drive less and shop elsewhere.

A mind at peace, a mind centered and not focused on harming others, is stronger than any physical force in the universe.
Wayne Dyer (1940 - ____) US psychologist

PEACE.  What a concept.  What could be more desired and yet any harder to achieve.  Peace, in the international, national, local, and personal level isn't perceived as a beneficial path.  Our society gives lipservice to peaceful behavior but, of course when it comes to actions and deeds we tend to run abit short.

The SS4PL holds the vision that peace will be practiced by all persons in the world on a personal, one on one level, thereby defeating aggreassive behavior.

Peace is not pacifism and it is not by definition the absence of aggression although peace and aggression tend to be exclusive properties.

. . . And To Secure the Blessings of Liberty

A Constitutionally Governed Republic (ACGR)

A division of the Secret Society for Peace and Liberty (SS4PL)

08/05/04

The ACGR is dedicated to re-establishing integrity in government administration and adherence to the United States Constitution.  We seek a return to government by the people for the people in order to create a more perfect union.  We desire limited federal government with increases in both the rights of states and individuals.  We desire increased privatization of services as opposed to dependency on government for services.  We believe the welfare state should be diminished, with an ever increasing state of self-sufficiency for every individual.

We believe all articles and amendments to the United States Constitution can still be applied to the honorable administration of our Country and if they were to be strictly applied we would see an increase in government efficacy and efficiency concurrent with an increase in the efficacy and efficiency of the separate states and individuals.

Our Constitution was created to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty . . .

We do not believe this is currently being accomplished by our current government.  We lack justice, tranquility, or general welfare, with an over-abundance of common defense.  What we currently have is status quo.  We want more and believe it can be garnered through less federal government, more state government, more local government, and the promotion of individual responsibility.

ACGR does hereby resolve:

1. To pursue and promote dissolving the popular national election for President of the United States with a concurrent changing in the electoral college such that the said college functions as closely as possible to the original intent of the framers of the constitution, thus, allowing for the most competent human for the position of President of the United States to be chosen.

Or

The disbanding of the Electoral College moving instead to the exclusive use of the popular vote to elect the President of the United States

2.  To pursue a reformation of campaign financing and election practices such that it is no longer possible for money to buy power within the political arena.  Let those who desire power within the political arena campaign for said power instead of purchasing it.

3.  To pursue the imposition of term limits on all members of the judiciary.

4.  To pursue an amendment to our Federal Constitution requiring a return to strict adherence to original intent, such that our government is administered based on strict adherence to separation of powers, limited rights and duties given to the federal government, security for each states democratic form of government, increased rights for the separate states and the individuals therein residing.

5.  To pursue a moratorium on the passing of any new federal or state laws for four years during which time all public officials will commit to purging law books of out-dated and unconstitutional laws, including simplification of all state and federal tax codes.  This would also include the simplification of regulation created by administrative bodies at the federal and state level allowing for increased economic expansion through the lightening of regulation created financial burdens on business, industry, and manufacturing.

6.  To pursue a complete separation of education from government, allowing all educational institutions to be privately operated and a dissolving of compulsory education laws, while at the same time encouraging the pursuance of higher and higher levels of education through the meeting of certain academic standards.

7.  To pursue a repealing of all laws violating the 9th Amendment constructed right to privacy, including but not limited to such things as seat belt laws, motorcycle helmet laws, sports competition laws, and any other laws that infringe on a person’s right to make an informed, consensual, age appropriate choice.  However, this should not affect those laws created for the safety of children and the unborn.

8.  To pursue a law limiting government military spending to only those revenues generated by the taxation of real estate property, the importation of goods, the exportation of goods, corporation revenue, revenues generated from the acquiring, processing, and selling of natural resources, and the sale of luxury items excluding automobiles, homes, and personal computing equipment

9.  To pursue a repealing or diminishing of all federal personal income tax..

10.  To promote and encourage the voting liberty of each individual.  Each person should be educated as to their right to vote or not vote based on their ability to determine a positive voting choice, with a concurrent act placing a “none of the above” choice on all election ballots be they local, state, or federal in nature.

11.  To pursue protections for the establishment, promulgation, and maintenance of all forms of industry and commercial endeavors at the state, local, and national level with a concurrent focus on the small business entrepreneur.

12.  To pursue the investment of public capital into the private sector, creating an alliance between business, academia, and government in the pursuing of number 11.

13.  To promote full adherence to the constitutional provisions for entering into military action and the ceasing of all military action that was not initiated through constitutional protocol.

14.  To promote privatization of government services, in the areas of social services; educational services; scientific services; and civil services such as law enforcement, fire fighting, and administrative support services, keeping in mind the safety of our communities and the well-being of all employees.

15.  To be a promoter of peace at the local, state, regional, national, and international level of political action.

16.  To promote and encourage the creation of term limits for all members of the federal House of Representative and Senate.

17.  To pursue the generation of passive forms of income such that government income is not based solely on the taxes of the people within it’s domain.  This may include such things as ongoing financial investments; the creation of positive business and manufacturing atmospheres which will provide a larger tax base instead increased taxes; as well as other none tax based avenues for revenue.

18.  That to generate prosperity one must be willing to engage in investment and maintain long- term vision.  This applies to the individual, local government, state government, and national government.  Law should be created with patience, discernment, and a view to all possible future consequences of the enactment thereof.  Let it be further resolved to forgo engaging in reactionary governance and impulsive legal creation.

19.  That it is right to support the sciences, arts, literature, and rationality, while at the same time encouraging and supporting hard work, labor, personal responsibility, and faith.  If you see a turtle on a fence post it did not get there by himself.  The greatest haven for democracy and a republican form of government is found in the twin safeties of enlightened thinking and the sweat of one’s brow.

20.  That faith should give guidance and nurturing to government but should never control it, while at the same time government should encourage an atmosphere for the practicing of faith but never endorse or establish it.

Think not forever of yourselves, O Chiefs, nor of your own generation. Think of continuing generations of our families, think of our grandchildren and of those yet unborn, whose faces are coming from beneath the ground.

Since wars begin in the minds of men, it is in the minds of men that the defence of peace must be constructed.

If you want to make peace, you don't talk to your friends. You talk to your enemies.
Moshe Dayan (1915 - 1981)

I like to believe that people in the long run are going to do more to promote peace than our governments. Indeed, I think that people want peace so much that one of these days governments had better get out of the way and let them have it.                             Dwight D.
